Welcome to the LA Valley College Public Relations (PR) Office
The LAVC Public Relations Office is responsible for the college's branding and advertising, media relations, social media, internal and external communications, and sports information. In addition, it provides access to the official college logo files, brand guidelines, digital stationary, and marketing photos, and maintains the campus map.

In addition, it assists with posting upcoming events and announcement on the College Marquees (electronic message boards) on Burbank/Fulton and Oxnard/Fulton.

Social Media
The PR Office manages the college's official @lavalleycollege on social media:

Media Relations
The PR Office performs the following media relations duties for the college and its department and services:
- distributing press releases,
- responding to reporter inquiries,
- providing faculty and staff with help when the media calls,
- assisting the news media when they visit the college, including at college events and activities.

Campus Map
The PR Office maintains the college's Campus Map, which is posted on the college website and on map directories around the campus.

Sports Information
The LAVC Public Relations Office assist the LAVC Athletics Department with posting statistics, media relations, and community outreach.

LAVC has an official Brand Guidelines that outlines proper usage of the college colors, fonts, logo and brand icons. In addition, employees can access the digital and print versions of the logos for their program/department's their marketing materials and website.

LAVC has an official logo, and mascot that follows the college's Brand Guidelines. Employees can access the digital and print versions of the logos, and mascot for their program/department's their marketing materials and website. In addition, there is a template for department logos.

LAVC has the stationary files for official college correspondences.

The LAVC Public Relations Office can provide promotional assistance to LAVC departments, programs, services, and ASU-chartered student clubs for their on-campus events, and departmental news.

District Resources
The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Chancellor's Office issues a Chancellor's Directive, which notes the current LACCD Board of Trustees and District officials should be noted in college and district publications.

The District's Web Services Team can assist with making requested web updates and creating new web pages. To submit web requests to the LACCD Web Services Team, email @email.
