Pathway to Success

• Apply for admission
• Submit the FAFSA or Dream application
• Complete Online Orientation
• Attend First Semester Planning session for advising on classes
• Register for classes as soon as possible
• Participate in a summer program to get ready to start college (link to come)

• Complete a Student Success course
• Attend a new student Orientation and First Semester Planning Session
• Schedule an appointment with a counselor
• Complete all units in good standing (2.0+ GPA)
• Participate in a career counseling workshop or course, if undecided about major or career goal
• Submit a FAFSA or Dream application renewal for next year
• Register for next semester on assigned date

• Complete transfer level English and Math
• Declare your major
• Meet with a counselor to update your SEP and review progress
• Complete minimum of 9 units in your major
• Complete prerequisite courses for certain majors, especially for STEM and Health Science
• Make sure financial aid file is complete for next year

• Meet with a counselor for graduation/transfer check
• Meet with a University rep
• Visit the Transfer Center and apply to universities
• Investigate job opportunities and internships

• Verify you have met all program requirements
• Apply for graduation
• Check that you submitted all required documents for University application
• Attend graduation ceremony and celebrate! You did it!
